Eric Volkernick

Eric first fell in love with web development in 2007 while at the University of Maine and was soon exposed to Drupal while working in a student-run development lab on campus. After a few years, they decided to make Drupal their career and they’ve been building enterprise-level websites for universities and non-profit organizations ever since. Eric believes that knowledge and technology should be shared so open-source software and web accessibility are very important to them. They particularly enjoy writing back-end code (e.g. manipulating data, connecting your website with other software) and working to improve your content authoring experience. Outside of work, Eric loves all things purple, tabletop gaming, and trying new whole-food plant-based recipes.
